Hitman 3 developer IO Interactive has just made a couple of big announcements. For starters, the game now as a concrete January 20, 2021 release date on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Stadia. IO previously had the game pegged for a January release, but today’s news confirms the actual day. Alongside this, IO also clarified that players who buy Hitman 3 digitally on PS4 will be able to upgrade to a digital PS5 copy for free....

According to the report, Horizon Forbidden West will miss its proposed holiday 2021 release and instead arrive sometime in early 2022. If accurate, it wouldn’t come as much of a surprise considering Guerrilla Games wasn’t quite sure if the game would meet a 2021 release. Back in June, PlayStation Studios head Herman Hulst said that while the game was “on track” for release this year around the holidays, “that isn’t quite certain yet....

Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn is launching on PC storefront GOG later this month. In a blog post, the CD Projekt-owned store said that Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition would be released on November 24. This version of the game comes with the base release, plus the Frozen Wilds expansion, in addition to a wealth of character cosmetics and a digital artbook. Horizon Zero Dawn initially launched as a PlayStation 4 exclusive back in 2017....

Mattel and Milestone announced today the upcoming release of Hot Wheels Unleashed which is scheduled to release on September 30. It is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. You can expect to race around Hot Wheels’ iconic orange tracks in various single-player game modes. You can also challenge others in multiplayer races, both online and offline with a split-screen mode. “We continue to focus on engaging consumers with our brands through gaming platforms,” said Andrew Chan, Head of Digital Gaming, Mattel....

This resource can enable you to craft new items and gear of a much better quality. Hunt: Showdown is an unusual game - part competitive shooter, and part an Evolve or Monster Hunter-like PvE shooter with a persistent world. I say persistent, because much like Escape from Tarkov, your character and the loot you earn in a match will all vanish forever if you die. You don’t just lose a round, you lose a character you’ve been levelling up and decking out for days or weeks....

Comic book writer Tom Taylor has been hinting at a return to the Injustice series of books with a string of teasers. Taylor, who penned much of its run, posted two images with the letters I and N - using the same font - on Twitter, along with quotes from the comics. Fans took this to mean that a third run of the Injustice series is in the works, which inevitably created speculation that Injustice 3 is not too far behind....

Italian Pokemon Go players recently noticed that Raids were still showing up despite the state-mandated requirements to remain indoors due to concerns over the coronavirus. So they discovered a way to play Pokemon Go from home, while collecting Raid rewards without needing to Raid in the first place. The phenomenon isn’t exclusive to Italy. Cobalion Raids were also still showing up in Japan, Korea, and other countries until Niantic recently announced that Raid Hour would be canceled until further notice on the Pokemon Go live updates website....

Speaking to MCV, thatgamecompany co-founder and creative director Jenova Chen confirmed that the studio’s social adventure game will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. “[O]ur game runs on iPad, on PC, it will run on console in the future. Android [should come] within a month. In the future, it’s going to cross all platforms. And whether you have PlayStation or Switch we will support crossplay.” First revealed for mobile and PC platforms during E3 2019, Sky: Children of The Light is a social adventure game in the spirit of the studio’s critically acclaimed Journey....
