This is according ResetEra user Dusk Golem, a leaker who has been known to be on the money with horror-related scoops (via Insider Gaming). Dusk Golem’s comments were posted in a thread on ResetEra where members of the forum were discussing a recent report that Death Stranding 2 would be released on Stadia, which Dusk Golem debunked. “Death Stranding 2 is in development (and for some insiders to know I’m not bullshitting about this in the future, its internal codename is Ocean),” they said....

Update: As expected, EA’s Need for Speed teaser was indeed leading up to the official reveal of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, which is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 6, and to Switch on November 13. All of the details in the leak from this morning have been confirmed in EA’s official release, though there are a couple of additions worth mentioning. Cross-platform multiplayer is indeed supported on all platforms, and EA confirmed the return of in-game social network Autolog, essentially a way to log your best times and compare them against those of friends and the general player base, as well as challenge others to head-to-head races....

Square Enix has revealed that Neo: The World Ends With You will release on July 27. That release date is for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions of the game, while a PC release will follow at some point during summer 2021 - but that PC release will follow in the footsteps of the Kingdom Hearts series as an Epic Games Store exclusive. Activision has confirmed that it’s working on a new premium Call of Duty game. The publisher revealed the new game will be available in Q4, just like all the other Call of Duty releases. Activision did not name the developer behind it, which it usually does as the game gets closer to being revealed. It did, however, call this year’s entry “strong”, and confirmed that it will tie into Warzone, just like Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War....

The leak comes from Japanese retailer Neowing (thanks, reddit), which has the game listed for a December 2 release on PS5. Other platforms, such as PC and Xbox Series X/S, were not noted, but it’s presently assumed the game may be a new-gen-only release. Alongside information on the game, four screenshots are posted, showing off a new cel-shaded art style for the series’ characters. The listing also notes that pre-ordering the game will provide customers with bonus DLC....

Multiple reports have surfaced with Switch owners stating their Nintendo Accounts have been accessed without their authorization. Yesterday, there were reports of Switch owners having their accounts showing unauthorized purchases or access. While Nintendo has yet to confirm such accounts by users, but today, it released a statement to Eurogamer saying it was “aware of reports of unauthorized access" to some Nintendo Accounts and it was investigating the matter. To be safe, Nintendo has recommended all account holders enable two-step verification for their Nintendo Account....

Epic said it has no plans to hold in-person Fortnite events next year, as the coronavirus pandemic continues. Bloober Team has announced it will release Observer: System Redux on PC and Xbox Series X November 10, and on PlayStation 5 November 12.
