Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition will run in 4K at 30fps, and in 1080p at 60fps. Of course, you can turn off ray tracing to experience up to 120fps. But with ray tracing on, you can expect more realistic reflections and lighting. This also includes more dynamic-looking environments. You can also expect increased framerates, reduced loading times, and upgraded audio. The game was announced yesterday during the PS5 Showcase and comes with Virgil as a playable character and Legendary Dark Knight mode....

I’ve never had a strong affection for Disney, but there’s something rather satisfying and wholesome about Disney Dreamlight Valley that sees me continually picking it up. That said, the Disney Dreamlight Valley Twitter has recently shared a string of tweets about its next update, and it appears that big things are coming. First things first, the next update for Disney Dreamlight Valley will introduce one character I do remember not being too fond of as a child, and that’s Scar from The Lion King....

After a short delay, fans will be able to get their hands on Doom Eternal in the first half of 2020. BioWare first teased us about a new Dragon Age game all the way back in 2018 with a trailer at The Game Awards, and we heard relatively little since. Last year, however, more information trickled through about Dragon Age 4, including the official title. Back in June 2022, BioWare released a blog post announcing the name of their next game: Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. Why Dreadwolf? Well, that comes from a recurring character in Dragon Age that Inquisition fans will be familiar with, but more on them in a bit....

Dying Light 2 developer Techland had promised, very recently, that it will share some “exciting news” on the game “soon.” But a listing that was uploaded by a retailer in the Czech Republic (image below), we may have seen more than we were supposed to at this stage of the game’s marketing campaign. The supposed Collector’s Edition of the game (thanks, Resetera) comes with a variety of extras including a steelbook case, an art book, a flashlight, and some stickers as well as a statue showing what appears to be the game’s protagonist leaping off a lamppost in order to whack a zombie in the skull....

The first content drop will happen in February with free factions-inspired DLC, followed by the first set of challenges in March. April will see a series of events revolving around the mutated infected, the second set of challenges in May, and the first story DLC is scheduled for June. Stating previously there would be at least five years worth of post-release content, looking past June 2022, you can expect a second story DLC, new weapons and enemies, new stories and events, and new free and paid DLC....

EA has revealed the Positive Play Charter, a set of guidelines the publisher arrived at after consulting with players from different walks of life. In short, the publisher is making a commitment to be proactive in removing harmful user content, and act on reports quickly and decisively. The types of content in the purview of this charter include everything from racist and homophobic content, to abusive and harassing behaviour. In practical terms, EA is putting more resources into moderation and reporting tools across all of its games....

The first-person psychological thriller is slated to be released this year on PC, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox family of devices. Most recently, one courageous player managed to fell the Mimic Tear successfully, without attacking the boss. An impressive feat, right? Reddit user, Going_Loki, shared a video to the Elden Ring subreddit on June 7 showcasing them beating the Mimic Tear without landing a single hit. For those who may not know, the Mimic Tear boss is essentially an exact body-double of your character, levels and all. So, if you’re a tough Tarnished, this boss fight won’t be easy....

For one, the Elden Ring gargoyles are seemingly the product of fusing together two living beings. While certain elements, such as their wings and some of their armour continue to be made of stone, they are decidedly different from the gargoyles FromSoftware fans know....

Well, there’s more good news for those enjoying the game, as Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games, in collaboration with Metro Goldwyn Mayer, have released the Army of Darkness update. The major content update introduces a new map to Evil Dead: The Game that’s directly taken from Army of Darkness, Castle Kandar. The map features Castle Kandar in great detail, with the Arthurian Outpost and Castle Kandar Keep intact. Joining the map will be two brand new weapons, some new premium cosmetics, and a single-player exploration mode....

As part of Bethesda Game Days, the developer hosted a panel discussing the upcoming Fallout 76 Wastelanders update, due for release April 7. Wasterlanders brings NPCs to the game for the first time, complete with a new story and new locations. First, Wastelanders content will be available to all players, regardless of their character level. It’s also designed so solo players can easily jump in like they could in other Fallout games....

Now that Fallout 76’s Wastelanders update is here, NPCs have returned to the world. That, of course, brings with it all the obvious benefits from new story content to NPC companions, but it appears to have also introduced a new problem. Players on the Fallout 76 subreddit have been reporting an unusual problem: NPCs stealing their weapons. According to players, this seems to happen during events. Some of the examples mentioned were Riding Shotgun, and Radiation Rumble....

As part of the 6.1 update, Final Fantasy 14 introduced a lottery system for getting housing in the Empyreum residential district. It generally worked to start, but over the weekend a major bug arose which prevented anyone from actually winning the lottery. Essentially, the number zero somehow got added to the running. No one could claim it, resulting in cases where everyone would lose, which apparently happened a number of times....
