Zombie Army Trilogy is Rebellion’s collection of zombie shooters set in the Sniper Elite WW2 universe, in case you’ve never played it before. It will be released for Nintendo Switch on March 31. The charity event was moved online this year after complications due to the spread of Covid-19 spurred the organisers to move away from a physical event to safeguard the health of its volunteers. Before Your Eyes is an interesting narrative adventure game with a unique mechanic. The player controls what happens simply by blinking their eyes, which the game translates into input through a webcam. The debut game from Goodbyeworld Games came out last week, and has been very well received by Steam players - currently boasting an ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ rating based on over 500 reviews. Unfortunately, because it’s a short experience, it fell victim to Steam’s refund policy....

I did manage to play one of the year’s biggest games, Resident Evil Village, and one of the most anticipated by nerds like me, Age of Empires 4. Of the two, Resident Evil Village is my main pick for Game of the Year. I love Resident Evil games, generally, but I was rather disappointed in the last outing.
