Sony may not hold the next batch of PS5 details for much longer, or at least, that appears to be the plan. As part of its reporting on PlayStation’s Q1 financials, Bloomberg revealed that the next PS5 announcement is coming this month. The outlet cited an anonymous source at PlayStation, but didn’t reveal what the next information drop is going to bring us. That said, this is only “tentatively scheduled” for this month, so plans may change....
The next Tomb Raider game will unify the timelines, according to Crystal Dynamics. As reported by GI.biz, the changes were prompted after an investigation into auto-renewal practices was conducted by the Competition and Markets Authority. In light of the investigation, and to comply with consumer protection laws, Sony will change how it renews its PlayStation Plus subscription. The new plan will see the company send reminders to customers that haven’t used the service in a while, telling them how to cancel their subscription....
The announcement comes with a new support page explaining how to pair your devices. Put simply, there’s now a new category under System Settings called Bluetooth Audio, which will let you pair your audio device with the system. Reconnecting is as simple as turning on your device and being within range, though sometimes you’ll have to go back into the System Settings menu to manually pair it. It seems pretty intuitive overall, though time will tell how well it really works....

The Overwatch 2 PvP stream will last around two hours and kicks off at 12pm PT, 3pm ET, 8pm UK. Destiny 2 players have figured out a way to get 12 guardians into PvE activities rather than the regular six. As shown in a video by YouTuber Scrub - and spotted by PCGamer - users can now get double the number of players into a raid or other PvE activity, meaning that they can, um, absolutely destroy whatever foes stand in their way. Persona 5 Royal is the enhanced version of 2017’s Persona 5. Royal not only expands the game with new stories, it also comes with new additions of its own and brings some nice quality of life changes. Sega has announced that Phantasy Star Online 2 is coming to Steam on August 5. This is the same free-to-play version available today on the Windows Store and Xbox One. This also means that, much like the existing releases, the Steam version will only be available in North America. The Steam version of Phantasy Star Online 2 features full cross-play and cross-progression with Xbox One, and the Windows Store/Game Pass version....
Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has revealed a little bit about how Microsoft plans to handle the next phase of Xbox Series X in an interview with IGN, now that console specs have been confirmed. Plague Inc. is a strategy game that lets you simulate the outbreak of a disease. As of yesterday, players now have a chance to catch Zorua, the Generation 5 black and red fox. Zorua behaves like Ditto because you may think you have captured a particular creature, but it instead turns into the Tricky Fox Pokemon. While Pokemon Sword & Shield had its shortcomings, it was still in many ways the most ambitious Pokemon game ever released. In many ways, those shortcomings whiffed of a game that was perhaps pushed out of the door with a little haste in order to meet a certain release date. That might have been true - we’ll likely never know - but regardless we’re now getting a bunch of additions to the game as DLC that are really going to help to fill it out - be that in terms of new zones to explore, previously missing Pokemon to catch, even more all-new Pokemon and a continuation of the story of Sword and Shield....
