A sequel to the Sonic the Hedgehog movie is now in the development stage, Paramount Pictures and Sega Sammy have announced. News of the sequel was confirmed yesterday by Variety. The sequel will bring back director Jeff Fowler and scriptwriters Pat Casey and Josh Miller. Casting has yet to be confirmed. As Siliconera reports, PlayStation Stores in the region often sell multiple versions of each game with titles segregated by language. While these are usually clearly tagged, a bug in the product mapping on the store caused anyone purchasing Final Fantasy 7 Remake in English/Japanese to receive the Chinese/Korean version instead. The bug has since been fixed, but not before some players in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand made the purchase....

As per users on Resetera and Twitter, Sony is refusing to issue refunds to users that have downloaded and streamed the game on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 thanks to the company’s long-standing (and infamously strict) refunds policy. Developer Spiders is opening up playtesting for its upcoming action RPG Steelrising next month. The French games studio has opened up a Google Form for those wanting to take part in this upcoming test, which is set to last between 7 and 10 days. The Steelrising playtest will be for the PC version of the game and will begin at the start of March. Those who are selected to take part in the test will be emailed ahead of it opening....
