In what could only be seen as a sign of good things to come, Marvel’s Avengers developer Crystal Dynamics has enlisted the help of Brian Waggoner, former Marvel Heroes game designer. Waggoner, who spent the last three years at EA Sports after Marvel Heroes maker Gazillion Entertainment was forced to close in late 2017, shared the good news on Twitter on Tuesday (via Resetera). “Well, the time has come. I can finally announce that at the end of next month, I’ll be leaving [EA Sports] and joining [Crystal Dynamics] as a system designer on [Marvels Avengers],” Brian Waggoner wrote on Twitter....

Crystal Dynamics has clarified a few remaining details in the lead-up to the release of Marvel’s Avengers. As is common with many of today’s big games, Avengers has a sizeable day one update. In a blog post, the developer said it’s going to be a roughly 18GB download. Not only does the patch include last-minute fixes, as well as adjustments made following beta feedback, it also adds localisation for a number of languages....

Kate Bishop, who trained under the bow-wielding hero Hawkeye in Square Enix’s version of the Marvel universe, will debut in Operation Taking AIM – a new story that continues on directly from the end of the main game. Three different looks and more information dropped today for Marvel’s Avengers during a presentation. The first trailer showed the story, which features Kamala Khan in the aftermath of A-Day. She has come to know of a conspiracy involving AIM, and is trying to reassemble the Avengers. Here, an enemy called Modok has surfaced. The character dates back to more than 50 years in Marvel history. He can control machines with his mind and is the overlord of AIM, the science-based organization which has outlawed superheroes....

EA has today announced that Mass Effect Legendary Edition, the collection featuring remastered versions of all three mainline Mass Effect games, will be available worldwide on May 14 across PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The collection will also be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S through backwards compatibility.
