Sony On Ps5 Marketing Vs Xbox Series X Wait For Sales Results

As part of Sony’s earnings reveal this morning, where the company announced a big surge in PlayStation Plus memberships, questions about PS5 inevitably came up. Though Sony did confirm that it doesn’t expect any delays in hardware, some were more concerned with how the company has been marketing PS5 thus far compared to what Microsoft has been doing with Xbox Series X. Bloomberg’s Takashi Mochizuki, who attended the call, reported an investor question about this very thing....

Sony To Launch Subscription Service That Would Compete With Xbox Game Pass Report

According to a report from Bloomberg, sources familiar with the project, codenamed Spartacus, state the service would charge a monthly fee for access to both classic and modern titles. It is slated to launch in the spring, and it will combine PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now into one service. Documents shown to Bloomberg indicate Sony plans to keep the PlayStation Plus branding and do away with PlayStation Now. Customers will apparently be offered a service with three tiers: one would be similar to how PlayStation Plus is now; the second would offer a hefty batch of PS4 and PS5 games; and the third tier would add “extended demos, game streaming, and a library of classic PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP games,” according to Bloomberg....

Speed Brawl is a 2D combat racer where you need to move fast, build your combos, and unleash powerful special moves. The game is set in London during the year 1888, where after a decade of war with the Lunar invaders called Selenites, the British Empire has finally kicked them to the curb thanks to Hugo Wells who crushed the colony’s queen and helped enslave the creatures. Star Citizen Dev Working On A Preview Of A Mock Up Of A Work In Progress Roadmap For Squadron 42

Motivated by a Reddit post from disgruntled Star Citizen backers, developer Cloud Imperium has responded to fan requests regarding more regular updates about Squadron 42. Squadron 42 is the single-player, A-lister-star-lead story campaign, which - like the main game - was announced years ago but has yet to be finished. The most recent development roadmap had the Squadron 42 beta pegged for the third quarter of this year. In March, following a lack of regular updates, CIG told players it will share more Squadron 42 news as part of its various developer updates and AMAs, but the developer only included some updates in newsletters sent to backers, not the wider community....

Star Citizen S Single Player Campaign Will Be Done When It S Done

Squadron 42 – the planned singleplayer campaign part Cloud Imperium’s space simulator – apparently has a lot more time in development left. “We still have a ways to go before we are in beta, but everyone on Squadron 42 is working very hard to deliver something great,” explained studio boss Chris Roberts in an AMA over on the Roberts Space Industries website. “We haven’t been happy with how effectively we’ve been showing progress on Squadron 42, as we felt the previous format didn’t do a good job of all in communicating just how much work is going on....

Star Wars Squadrons Supports Hotas And Joysticks On Pc

The Star Wars: Squadrons reveal from earlier this week was a little bit brief on gameplay details. The biggest mystery right now is where Squadrons sits on the spectrum of flight games. Street Fighter 5 S New Content Looks Great But All I Really Want Is A New Generation

Respect to the Street Fighter 5 team. They’ve stuck with it. When I reviewed the game back in 2016, I described it as an excellent game with a content problem. Sherif was less charitable, brutally describing its launch package as a “fuck you to casual players”. He wasn’t wrong. But Capcom has worked bloody hard, and the end result is that Street Fighter 5 is one of the best and most content-rich fighters on the market....
