Graphics card giant Nvidia has placed limitations on how efficiently its RTX 3060 GPU can mine cryptocurrency. I press the PS Button on my DualSense controller. It beeps, but nothing appears on my TV. The lights on the DualSense pulse a bit and then nothing. I press the button again. Nothing. Double Fine has revealed that Psychonauts 2, the long-in-development sequel to the classic adventure game, is indeed going to be released this year. Puzzle Quest 3 will be the first official release under 505 Games, following the recent acquisition of Puzzle Quest creators Infinity Plus Two, which has generated over $200 million in revenue and amassed an estimated 32 million users globally under the franchise. Releasing later this year, the game returns to its origins, recalling RPG mechanics and storylines. The game will now feature a “twist” on the traditional puzzle play. You can expect a 1v1 battle system realized in a 3D game world that takes place 500 years after the original Puzzle Quest....
The 25th annual QuakeCon will not be held this year due to uncertainties surround the current COVID-19 pandemic, according to a statement from Bethesda and id Software. According to the statement, both companies have been discussing how QuakeCon 2020 could move forward especially since it is the 25th year of the event, but “uncertainties we currently face due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” have caused the cancellation. “QuakeCon has always been a special event for us and for you – a time when we gather together to play games and build bonds that, for some, have lasted a quarter-century now,” reads the statement....

You can expect a new game mode in an “elderly” British version of the Hereford map called The Stolen Goods. It’s a 5v5 game mode inspired by the British mob of the 1920s. The next content update for Red Dead Online is live, and as a Naturalist, you will be tracking, studying, and hunting animals. You will also help escort a new Legendary animal with other players to keep it safe from poachers, and also sedate and tag a certain number of animal species within a time limit. Seven new Legendary Animal species are included. Other content included in the update includes the Wilderness Camp which can be unlocked by progressing through the Naturalist Role....

Focus Home Interactive announced Friday that it has acquired French retro specialist Dotemu, a developer and publisher of several well-received classic revivals, including Streets of Rage 4, the upcoming Windjammers 2 and many more. The deal also includes The Arcade Crew, a publishing label of Dotemu’s. The deal is worth €38.5 million ($45,4M), and gives Focus ownership of 77.5% of Dotemu’s share capital and voting rights. Focus will pay an additional €15 million ($17,7M) upon Dotemu reaching certain revenue targets, as well as a second earnout over the next two years....
