Yet, the dungeon boss - a Spiritcaller Snail - is no trouble at all to tackle (it’s their summons you need to worry about)....

As per an announcement by the platform holder, the Epic Games Store Spring Showcase will premiere on Twitch on February 11 at 2pm ET / 11am PT / 7pm GMT. Though there’s not a lot of information about exactly what to expect from this special showcase, Epic has mentioned that there’s a couple of announcements earmarked for the event. “Join us as we take a look at some of the games launching on the Epic Games Store this year,” says Epic....

The new mode is already available to play, as of the game’s most recent update, on all platforms. In it, you can choose Deadite versions of any of the survivors and demons in the game, and like in any battle royale you’ll have to try and be the last person standing. The mode features up to 40 players, all facing off against one another, taking each other out with whatever weapons you can scrounge up....

It’s that time of year when endless fights inevitably break out among the fighting game community once more - the games have been revealed for this year’s edition of Evolution, aka Evo, the world’s biggest fighting game tournament. The biggest headline this year is the return of beloved fighting game classic Marvel vs Capcom 2 (yes, that’s the right number - two!) as a special celebratory ’tournament of champions’ where eight of the greatest players of all time will be invited to compete for a five-figure prize pot....

That explains the Frostpunk vibes, then The game combines elements of city-building, survival, and strategy all into one neat package. Like a standard city-builder, Gord asks you to grow your settlement over time, fending off external threats and completing quests to bolster your civilization. It deviates from the norm in some places though: making you kill mythical beasts to fulfill the single-player narrative, Witcher-style, for one....

According to the studio, the previously announced summer 2021 Switch and Xbox One release for Fall Guys is “just too soon” to include all of the “tasty new features” being worked on. One of the new features is cross-play. The delay will give the team time to add the feature so that when the game comes out on Switch and Xbox One, everyone will be able to play together regardless of platform....

That title faced a lot of problems after its launch and failed to meet player expectations. Howard said last year that the team knew Fallout 76 wasn’t going to review well on launch, but that it would improve over time. The perception has turned around in recent years, with the huge Wastelanders expansion coming out in April of this year and introducing a wealth of new features. In an official reveal trailer EA Sports lifted the lid on what’s supposed to be the final entry in the long-running FIFA series, after the world football governing body and the publisher of the world’s leading football game agreed to part ways following the eventual release of FIFA 23. One headline inclusion is that of a long-requested feature: Cross-play. In FIFA 23, players on the same platform generation will be able to play against each other in “1v1 modes”, which includes Online Friendlies and FIFA Ultimate Team (including FUT Rivals, FUT Champions and FUT Draft)....

Turns out, though, that the graphics we’ve seen in the trailer (below) aren’t final. During a special panel called ‘Stroll with Yoshi-P’ at Tokyo Games Show 2020, FFXVI producer Naoki ‘Yoshi-P’ Yoshida confirmed that the graphics are still being worked on and will be fine-tuned ahead of release. Thanks to a translation by Audrey on Twitter – and corroborated by Japanese press notes – Yoshida has noted that the trailer was put together to show off the upcoming title’s gameplay, more than anything else....

Final Fantasy 9 hit stores in Japan on July 7, 2000 - and it couldn’t have been developed and released at a more difficult, transient time. That Final Fantasy 9 is so fondly remembered is something of a miracle. Internally, it was developed concurrently and partially in the same Honolulu office as the ill-fated Hollywood movie Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. It was a wildly different game to its massively successful PlayStation predecessors - less realistic grit and more a cute, cartoon-like medieval fantasy....

As you already know, November sees the release of Minecraft for PC through Game Pass. Released yesterday, it comes in bundle form with both the Java and Bedrock Editions of the game. For this challenge, you’ll need to find some cheeky wee gnomes hidden around the map. There are two to find so far, but they’re quite easy to spot if you know where to look. Your best bet is to try and land at the sites quickly as they’ll likely get quite busy, especially around the Slurpy Swamp area where players are looking for Slurp barrels. You can spread this challenge out over two missions, so don’t fret if you can find them in one go....

In this challenge, you’ll need to find different No Swimming signs and have a swim around the various ponds and lakes all over the Fortnite map. These signs aren’t too difficult to find, but keep your eye out for opponents waiting on the shoreline.
