According to 343 Industries, it’s making “great progress” on Campaign network co-op, which is occurring in parallel to Season 2 work, as is work on Forge. However, the studio said it is going to take more time to land a “high-quality, full-featured four-player network co-op experience.” The team is also working on the two-player split-screen co-op experience on all Xbox consoles, from the original Xbox One through Xbox Series X, as well as the non-linear, wide-open sections of the Campaign....

The show’s premiere knocked 1883 out of the top slot, which is no large feat considering the series is a prequel for the rather popular show Yellowstone. Both shows were heavily marketed, and while 1883 had an association with Yellowstone going for it, the Halo campaign served a dual target for both a game fan base that has grown for more than 20 and those who like sci-fi shows. Add in the fact Paramount worked with networks MTV, CBS, Comedy Central, BET, and Paramount Network to help attract the target audiences and it didn’t hurt that the advertising campaign kicked off with a Halo trailer dropping during the AFC Championship game where 48 million people saw the trailer that day....

Harvest Moon: One World was announced by Natsume Inc., who will publish the game in North and South America. Rising Star Games will also work on the game, having attained publishing duties across European regions. Both companies have worked on the Harvest Moon series in the past. Despite its new engine and graphics overhaul, One World will share the primary focus on farm management championed by the much-beloved original Harvest Moon game....

If you missed it, someone posted leaked footage of an unreleased Godfall trailer earlier this week. Those six seconds of footage piqued players’ interests enough that the same Reddit user returned with the whole thing. The full trailer has a much more reasonable one minute, 14 seconds runtime. It features plenty of gameplay from an on old build. Developer Counterplay Games confirmed on Twitter that gameplay was indeed captured from a PC....

Baldur’s Gate 3, which recently suffered a slight delay, will be available today on Steam, GOG and Google Stadia in Early Access. Developer Larian also confirmed that the Mac version will go live alongside Windows. Unfortunately, no pre-load will be made available, so everyone will be rushing to download several gigabytes today, though that obviously won’t be a problem on Stadia. The developer also confirmed that the game unlocks worldwide at the same time on all platforms....

Hogwarts Legacy was announced during Sony’s PS5 Showcase today, and it looks like a very wizardry title. One of the biggest surprises coming out of last week’s Horizon Forbidden West gameplay reveal - other than just how good it looks - was that it didn’t bring us a release date.
