GTA Online has now dropped one of, if not the biggest DLCs ever with its new Cayo Perico Heist. This new content brings players to a private island where they are trying to steal whatever they can from one of the biggest crimelords in the world. The island resort, despite having a deeply shady business dealing attached, actually appears to be a pretty good time as parties with famous DJs and musical talent run around the clock. As crimelord hangouts go, it seems like one you could have a fun weekend at. Well, it appears that is a setting ripe for a good cameo too. As pointed out by Twitter user @KieranAllman, Dr. Dre, playing himself, is seen getting ready to head to the island. To see this content please enable targeting cookies. However, in a longer clip, it turns out a phone with a lot of Dre’s unrecorded music has been stolen so he ends up not actually going with his crew to the island with you. This is the latest in a long line of cameos in the franchise’s history. Ricky Gervais famously appeared as himself in a stand-up act in GTA 4. Phil Collins also played himself in the series before in GTA: Vice City Stories. Actors from Samuel L. Jackson, Ray Liotta, Ice T, Burt Reynolds, and more have had significant roles in the series. GTA’s Cayo Perico Heist is out now.
