The update, which is available now to anyone that’s a member of the Alpha Skip-Ahead group, allows you to see all games that support Quick Resume from your Guide. If you head over to Groups, you’ll be able to see all the games that support the feature collected in one easy-to-navigate space, too, showing you which titles on your system have a Quick Resume save state stored. This is beneficial, given that we’ve previously noted just how good Quick Resume can be… when it works. You will be given the option to delete these save states and free up space on your system, allowing you to make room for another game on your Quick Resume list or clear titles you’re not interested in returning to with ease. The new update also allows the Xbox Series X/S to enable audio passthrough, upgrading the utility of the console a little bit more. “Users will now have a new option to enable audio passthrough with your favourite media apps by going to Settings>Audio>Advanced>Allow Passthrough on the console,” says the blog post. The update also fixes an issue where an update could get stuck while showing “Finishing things up” in queue – something we’ve seen a fair few reports of lately. It’s good to know Microsoft is tackling these issues. Xbox engineering lead Eden Marie has shared a quick rundown of some of these features via Twitter, which we’ve embedded below for you to check out in more detail.
